We are excited to have Sara Sanchez as one of our newer resident artists at Sweet Tooth Glassworks! Sara has lived in Eugene for around a year, and is fairly new to glassblowing but truly talented. She loves the creative energy of Eugene and can be found exploring her new city with her headphones on, hunting for artistic inspiration and good Thai food.
Sara enjoys the meditative aspect of glassblowing, working with the different materials and sculpting the glass. She finds inspiration for her art in everything from nature and unique lifestyles to characters from movies and her travels. Her art extends beyond glassblowing to ink drawings and painting with acrylics.
In her time at STG, Sara has grown her craft immensely and enjoys learning from her unique fellow glassblowers. You find some of Sara’s work on her Instagram page @sancheetoesglass. Or come to Sweet Tooth Glassworks and see Sara’s work in-person!
Three Fun Facts about Gwyn…
